Position Summary

As the Senior Manager of Electrical Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in leading integrated product teams, focusing on the electrical systems and designs across all Miso products. You will guide a team of passionate professionals dedicated to advancing the future of cooking robots and AI-driven kitchen technologies. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to transformative technology that is reshaping the restaurant industry.

Compensation: The salary range for this role is $140,000 + equity + benefits. As a pre-revenue company, we view equity as a vital component of our compensation structure. Our salary ranges are based on industry benchmarks, responsibilities, required skills, education, experience, and Miso's growth stage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with mechanical, software, and testing engineers to deliver fully functional products, ensuring effective team execution.
  • Partner with Product and R&D teams to establish requirements for electrical and electronic components.
  • Lead the electrical design and development throughout all project phases.
  • Engage in hands-on work to create electrical and electronic components for our robotic systems and assemble the hardware.
  • Oversee debugging and testing of the overall electrical system to guarantee reliability.
  • Develop schematics, PCB designs, Master Wiring Diagrams, bill of materials, testing procedures, and reports.
  • Integrate and evaluate new features and functionalities within our robotic systems.
  • Design cable harnesses and provide assembly instructions for high-reliability applications.
  • Identify technical roadblocks proactively and implement solutions.
  • Serve as a leader within the organization, contributing to the definition and standardization of processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Over 10 years of experience in electrical and electronic systems, ideally in robotics or mechatronics.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing a high-performing team.
  • Experience with high voltage switching.
  • Proficient in using logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other relevant equipment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge in circuit design, signal processing, actuators, motors, sensors, battery technology, power systems, and control systems, with a systems-level approach.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a capacity for rapid learning in a dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to make independent decisions.
  • Willingness to work on-site at our headquarters.
