Associate Medical Director for Infection Prevention and Control

Washington University School of Medicine is seeking a highly qualified Associate Medical Director for Infection Prevention to join our team. As a key member of our Division of Infectious Diseases, you will play a critical role in leading our infection prevention and control program.
About the Role:- Provide strategic leadership to support the growth and development of our infection prevention program in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Collaborate closely with our Medical Director of Infection Prevention and a team of healthcare epidemiologists to develop and implement effective infection prevention strategies.
- Participate in teaching and research activities in the ID division, including attending on the ID consult service and providing other patient care activities as needed.
- Mentor ID fellows who are on the Healthcare Epidemiology fellowship training track.
- Board certification or eligibility in Infectious Diseases.
- Eligibility for a medical license in Missouri.
- Additional qualifications in clinical research or epidemiology are an asset.
