Job Summary

Penn Medicine is a leading academic medical center dedicated to providing exceptional patient care, conducting innovative research, and educating future healthcare professionals. We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Radiographer to join our OBGYN Maternal Fetal team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations to support patient care and diagnosis.
  • Coordinate and supervise patient testing services, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
  • Prepare and maintain ultrasound rooms, ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients.
  • Interview and screen patients prior to examinations, explaining procedures and addressing concerns.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to educate patients and their families on ultrasound procedures and results.
  • Assist in research projects and contribute to the development of effective antenatal testing systems.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
  • CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
  • ARDMS or RDMS certification.
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or board eligible.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience in ultrasonography.
