Renal Care Specialist

Job Summary: DaVita is seeking a highly skilled Renal Care Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care in an independent setting. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessing, diagnosing, and implementing comprehensive care plans.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Work independently, making sound decisions and taking initiative to resolve complex patient care issues.
- Participate in training and education programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 12 months' of RN experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous Chronic Hemodialysis, Acute Dialysis and/or Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) nursing experience.
- Training/Teaching/Healthcare Education background.
