We are seeking skilled Systems Engineers to contribute to the Missile Defense Agency's System Integration, Test and Readiness (SITR) contract. This initiative is crucial for the comprehensive engineering and integration of the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Element, which includes both physical and logical integration with the Missile Defense System.
Overview:

We are in search of Model-Based Systems Engineers (MBSE) to enhance the Victory Solutions team supporting the SITR program. The role encompasses the development and execution of GMD requirement plans, technical documentation, creation and validation of digital models, and program support for technical and schedule management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, select, and implement standard systems engineering (SE) methodologies, procedures, and criteria, along with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) best practices throughout various phases of the product lifecycle.
  • Facilitate the integration of MBSE best practices, methodologies, techniques, and tools into product design as part of a team dedicated to applying digital engineering principles.
  • Design and manage object-oriented models utilizing various digital engineering tools (e.g., Cameo Enterprise Architect/MagicDraw).
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in an Engineering discipline from an ABET accredited institution.
  • 0-8 years of relevant experience with a BS degree; an MS degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.
  • Familiarity with top-down systems engineering processes for architecture development and bottom-up verification, such as the Engineering Vee or similar project lifecycle methodologies.
  • Knowledge of the processes necessary for accurate and timely data management within an object-oriented modeling environment.
  • Experience or understanding in formulating systems requirements, verification strategies, and verification planning, as well as facilitating successful verification compliance activities.
  • Able to multitask with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively to resolve engineering challenges in a dynamic development environment.
  • Proficient with digital applications such as MagicDraw (SysML), DOORS, DOORS Next Generation, Data Hub, and other SysML tools like Rhapsody, Syndeia, Jira, etc.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with all organizational levels.
  • Prior experience with GMD and/or weapon systems is preferred.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance is mandatory.
