Key Responsibilities- Provide Patient-Centered Care
- Observe and collect patient health status information in a timely manner, as delegated by the Registered Nurse.
- Report observations to the RN and immediately report any concerns or changes in the patient's condition.
- Perform personal care and interventions for patient needs, as per policies and procedures.
- Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Document daily activities and care provided to patients accurately and in a timely manner.
- Contribute to a Safe Environment
- Provide and maintain a clean, safe patient care environment, stocking patient care supplies and cleaning reusable equipment.
- Use equipment and supplies safely and properly.
- Protect patients and staff from infectious and communicable disease through proper use of universal precautions.
- Ongoing Development
- Participate in learning activities and other opportunities for development.
- Maintain clinical competence.
- Work collaboratively with the team to create a cohesive environment.
- At least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Registered in good standing with the Minnesota Department of Health Nursing Assistant Registry (NAR)
- Current BLS certification
- Initial Crisis Prevention Certification (CPI) within six months
- Workplace Violence education
- Ability to multi-task
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written English
- 1-year hospital experience or 2 years skilled nursing facility experience, preferred
- Competitive Wages; $17.66-$24.93
- Shift Differential Pay: Evenings.80; Nights 1.20
