Job Title: Residential Energy Auditor

We are seeking a skilled Residential Energy Auditor to join our team at Community Teamwork Inc. As a Residential Energy Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting energy audits in customers' homes to identify areas of energy inefficiency and provide recommendations for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate homes for energy efficiency by completing energy conservation audits and checking for insulation, heat loss, air infiltration, and inefficient heating equipment.
  • Provide homeowners with no-cost energy-saving products and information about heating system upgrades.
  • Make recommendations for insulation, air sealing, and heating system upgrades and help homeowners implement these changes to reduce energy consumption and save money.
  • Collaborate with homeowners to develop a plan to improve their home's energy efficiency and provide ongoing support to ensure successful implementation.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical school diploma or recognized certification in construction trade or weatherization/energy-related field highly preferred.
  • Two years' experience in building trades preferred.
  • BPI and/or DHCD/DOE Certification required within one year of hire. We will assist with obtaining this.
  • Massachusetts Construction Supervisor's License and/or construction management experience preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills required.
  • Knowledge of data entry and Microsoft Office products required.
  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish and English/Khmer) preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
