Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Interconnection Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in the performance of our New York interconnection portfolio. You will be responsible for coordinating interconnection activities, managing utility performance, and leading biweekly utility status meetings.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of approximately 100 active interconnection applications across multiple utilities and service territories.
- Coordinate interconnection activities, including direct utility RFIs and internal response to performance and lead time targets.
- Manage utility performance to tariff-related timeline commitments on a project-by-project basis.
- Lead biweekly utility status meetings.
- Facilitate interconnection application submittals with internal Engineering and Project Development teams.
- Coordinate signatures, approvals, and payments for applications, impact studies, and interconnection agreements.
- Develop and maintain a consistent record as each project navigates the interconnection process.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all utility communications.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience, with a preference for those with energy experience or utility experience.
- Bachelor's degree preferred (Engineering, Policy, Finance, Business, Environmental Science, Project Management preferred).
- Good project management, reporting, and technical skills, preferably in Salesforce and Smartsheet/Microsoft Project.
