Position Overview

As a Retail Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers enjoy a pleasant shopping experience. Your primary responsibilities will include providing exceptional customer service, assisting shoppers with inquiries, and facilitating the checkout process as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support customers by answering questions and helping them locate products.
  • Participate in the operations team by managing the timely merchandising of the store.
  • Receive and unload shipments, ensuring products are stocked and displayed according to company standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store, including aisles, displays, and checkout areas.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with price checks and stock replenishment.
  • Report any suspicious activities to management to maintain a safe shopping environment.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Previous experience in retail or grocery is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers and team members.
  • The capability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
  • Physical stamina to lift items up to 50 pounds and perform tasks that require standing, bending, and reaching.
  • Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for early mornings and weekends.
