Position Title: Pruning Crew Member

Reports to: Pruning Supervisor

Supervises: N/A

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handles the loading and unloading of plant materials.
  • Operates company vehicles for transportation to various job sites.
  • Engages in hand pruning and upkeep of landscape plantings, including the removal of clippings.
  • Completes daily paperwork and documentation.
  • Undertakes additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

Prior experience in landscaping is advantageous but not mandatory.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Basic knowledge of plants (training will be provided).
  • Possession of a valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Capability to lift and carry objects weighing between 40-80 lbs.
  • Ability to perform repetitive manual labor tasks.
  • Willingness to stoop, stand, walk, and bend for extended periods, typically 8 hours or more daily.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Capacity to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Commitment to providing quality customer service.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision after training.
