Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist PRN to join our team at MountainView Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures with expertise in various areas, including OB/GYN, Abdomen, Neurosonology, and Peripheral Vascular.
  • Obtain detailed information about internal organs, fluid accumulations, disease diagnosis, and prenatal examination of fetuses and placenta.
  • Assist radiologists during biopsies and assume non-technical duties of radiology, such as clerical, transportation, and reception tasks.
Requirements
  • Advanced certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in ABD, OBGYN, and neurosurgery.
  • Current ARRT certification or RVT certification preferred.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • High school graduate or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic training in an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Tech Program or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years' experience preferred.
