Dover Precision Components is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team at our manufacturing site in Jeffersonville, IN. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial leadership and guidance to support the site's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to management, including month-end close process and financial forecasts.
  • Develop and implement financial plans and budgets to drive business decisions.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with site leadership to deliver results within budgetary considerations.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with Dover Core Internal Controls (CIC) and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX).
  • Coordinate audits and balance sheet reviews.
  • Prepare and report tax provisions, deferred tax calculations, and annual tax packages.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in accounting and finance roles within a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Advanced skillset in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work with a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ERP system experience in Oracle and/or JDE or similar.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, and/or supervising others.
