Job Title: Medical Device Investigator

Salary: $85,000 - $115,000 per year

Saluda Medical is a leading company in the development of closed-loop Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS) therapy. We are seeking an experienced Medical Device Investigator to join our team at our Minnesota site.

As a Medical Device Investigator, you will be responsible for analyzing medical devices, conducting thorough investigations, and assessing risks associated with reported events. You will also provide input on product performance and design improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate returned products to determine the cause of reported events and assess associated risks.
  • Develop expertise in product and procedural knowledge to inform design, development, and manufacturing improvement activities.
  • Prepare and contribute to product trending reports to ensure safe and effective product performance.
  • Support quality initiatives, including CAPAs, by investigating and implementing corrective actions as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 2+ years' experience in the medical device industry or other regulated industry.
  • Experience with electro-mechanical devices.
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail to ensure thoroughness of product analysis and documentation of results.
