Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Seasonal PT Service Associate to join our team at Michaels Stores. As a Seasonal PT Service Associate, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience, ensuring a well-merchandised and in-stock store, and supporting the overall success of our store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, helping customers find what they need and ensuring a fast and friendly checkout experience.
  • Assist customers with product information, answer questions, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Engage customers on the benefits of our Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, and complete enrollments as needed.
  • Educate customers on our Voice of Customer (VOC) survey and encourage feedback.
  • Support Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
  • Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes to ensure a well-merchandised store.
  • Responsible for completing merchandise recovery and maintenance, including the merchandise return/go back process and general store recovery.
  • Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
  • Support shrink and safety programs, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
  • Interact with colleagues in an accepting and respectful manner, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
Requirements
  • Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods, move throughout the store, and perform regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
  • Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
