About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Dietary Aide III to join our Nutrition Services team at MultiCare Health System. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our patients receive the best possible nutritional care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Meal Orders: You will be responsible for processing meal orders and monitoring diet orders for accurate menu modifications.
  • Patient Tray Management: You will maintain accuracy between patient trays, visiting patients, delivery, and pick-up of patient meal trays.
  • Collaboration with Healthcare Team: You will work closely with a team of Nursing staff, Doctors, Clinical Dietitians, Dietetic Technicians, and other department staff to provide optimal nutrition care for patients.
  • Customer Service: You will engage in a variety of consistent and routine functions with excellent customer service.
  • Special Dietary Needs: You will utilize an understanding of special dietary needs to provide personalized care to our patients.
Requirements
  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Two-year degree in Nutrition preferred. Minimum six (6) months experience in a customer service oriented position preferred.
  • Certifications: Current Washington State Food Handlers Card.
