Lead AV Technician

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and service AV systems at customer job sites, ensuring timely and successful project completion.
  • Manage van stock and tools, as well as van maintenance and appearance, to maintain a professional image.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure seamless communication and effective project execution.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, taking direction from Project Managers and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Review sales orders, product lists, and scope of work before deploying equipment, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Set up, configure, and program networks, control systems, cameras, and NVRs, demonstrating system capabilities to customers.
  • Update project documentation and work orders in job management software, maintaining accurate records.
  • Maintain job site cleanliness and adhere to builder site requirements, ensuring a safe and professional work environment.
  • Accurately record time and job costing, exercising fiscal responsibility for assigned assets and property.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and local travel to job sites, providing support and expertise as needed.
  • Provide training or communication to disseminate pertinent information, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing.
  • Exercise fiscal responsibility for assigned assets and property, ensuring the company's assets are protected and utilized efficiently.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, including working with high-profile and high-demand customers, and protecting client confidentiality and network/home security.
  • Comply with state and federal laws, including traffic laws, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.
Requirements
  • Flexibility to meet customer demands outside of normal working hours, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to go above and beyond.
  • Ability to lift and carry 60lbs, ensuring physical stamina and ability to perform job requirements.
  • Capacity to work in tight spaces and at ladder height, demonstrating physical agility and dexterity.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record, ensuring safe and responsible transportation.
  • Security license or experience preferred, demonstrating a commitment to security and compliance.
