As a Construction Assistant, you will play a vital role in our operations by:


• Operating machinery on fabrication tables


• Aiding in the unloading and packing of processed timber


• Assembling trusses by arranging lumber on fabrication tables and securing with nail plates


• Upholding cleanliness and organization at your work station


• Ensuring that the quality standards for trusses are adhered to by following established protocols

Required Skills & Qualifications:


• Proficiency in using tools such as a framing hammer, electric saw, and pneumatic nail gun


• Capability to read and interpret measurements using a tape measure


• Strong ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team


• Physical capability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs and transport items over a distance of 50 feet
