Compassionate Medical Care Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team, providing evidence-based medical care to seniors and patients with complex needs. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will perform examinations, treat chronic and urgent conditions, and maintain up-to-date medical records.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive medical evaluations and create personalized treatment plans
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure interdisciplinary care and maintain accurate patient records
- Provide referrals to other healthcare practitioners when necessary and order laboratory and diagnostic testing as needed
- Maintain current knowledge of medical instruments and equipment, HIPAA and OSHA regulations, and electronic medical record systems
- Engage in moderate physical activity, including handling objects up to 25 lbs., standing or walking for more than four hours per day
Requirements:
- Active state Nurse Practitioners license
- Current Nurse Practitioner National Board Certification
- Active state DEA licensure
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN)
- Five or more years of nursing experience; at least two years of nurse practitioner experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal communication skills – verbal and written
- Excellent time management skills with accountability for practitioner's daily workflow
