Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering and directing phone calls in a timely and professional manner
  • Scheduling appointments and managing patient schedules
  • Greeting patients and gathering personal data and insurance information
  • Entering patient information into our office scheduling and billing system
  • Performing check-in and check-out office functions
  • Assisting with other office duties as requested
  • Preparing referrals for HMO patients and collecting fees for services rendered
  • Completing end-of-day deposit records
  • Supporting clinical services provided in the office and performing basic health screening services with documented competencies

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Six months to one year of experience as a medical secretary or receptionist preferred
