The Financial Planning Specialist will work closely with the Lead Advisor and Client Service Team to provide comprehensive financial strategies and exceptional client service. This position is essential for nurturing client relationships, preparing for meetings, and ensuring the effective implementation of financial plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Knowledge: Deliver expert insights on retirement strategies, tax considerations, risk management, and estate planning.
  • Meeting Preparation: Support all aspects of client meeting logistics, including agenda creation, documentation, follow-up communications, and financial assessments.
  • Client Relationship Development: Cultivate and sustain client relationships through effective communication and proactive engagement with client needs.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Uphold adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Operational Enhancements: Identify and implement strategies for improving operational efficiency through research and innovative practices.
  • Client Onboarding and Service: Oversee the client onboarding process and deliver ongoing support, collaborating with team members and external partners as needed.
  • Collaborative Engagement: Maintain active communication with internal teams, clients, and external professionals to gather and manage client information.
  • Project Involvement: Participate in special projects as required, coordinating with external experts when necessary.

Required Qualifications:

  • Preferred Certification: CFP designation or progress towards completion.
  • Industry Background: Minimum of 3 years in the financial services sector.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Practifi, Tamarac, Outlook, and Excel is highly desirable.
  • Detail Orientation: Strong organizational capabilities, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Client Service Focus: Dedication to providing exceptional client service.
  • Team Collaboration and Multitasking: Ability to thrive in a team setting, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
  • Analytical Thinking: Proven ability to apply critical thinking to resolve complex issues.
  • Consistency in Work: High level of attention to detail and consistency in processes.
