Recreation Assistant, Ingraham Manor, Per Diem

Job Summary:
BRISTOL HOSPITAL GROUP is seeking a highly motivated Recreation Assistant to join our team at Ingraham Manor. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct therapeutic recreation services to facility residents, ensuring their individual leisure, creative, spiritual, and psycho-social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement activity programs that cater to the physical, mental, and psychosocial needs of residents.
- Plan and execute activities to meet residents' specific needs, including large group, small group, and individual participation.
- Create interest and motivate residents to participate in daily activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation as required by State and Federal regulations.
- Ensure personal and staff compliance to Resident's Rights.
- Conduct initial assessments to identify residents' needs.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 15 lbs and carry objects.
- Capacity to push and pull carts, and continuously walk, sit, and stand.
- Flexibility to turn, crouch, kneel, stoop, bend below waist, and reach above shoulder height as tasks dictate.
