About the Role:

Frozen Food Express is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Dockworker to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods in and out of our warehouse.

Responsibilities:

  • Unload and load trailers, pallets, and skids in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Operate a forklift to move goods around the warehouse and load/unload trailers.
  • Perform daily inspections of the warehouse and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist in the receiving and processing of goods, including verifying inventory and completing paperwork.
  • Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience operating a forklift and working in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in the transportation industry.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control procedures.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
