We are seeking an accomplished Water Resources Engineer to join our team at Jobot. Our ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, stormwater management, and floodplain management.

The successful candidate will have experience working on large-scale projects, with a focus on highway engineering along the East Coast. They will be expected to demonstrate excellent technical writing skills, produce high-quality reports and specifications, and work effectively with clients.

A key aspect of this role is leadership and mentorship, as you will be required to lead project-related tasks and mentor entry-level engineers. Comfortable interacting with clients regarding technical challenges, you will also have opportunities to perform project management if desired.

In terms of qualifications, we are looking for individuals with a strong understanding of state DOT design criteria, particularly in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Virginia, Maryland, and West Virginia. Experience with Microstation v8i, ArcGIS, HY-8, HEC-RAS, Storm and SewerCAD, WinTR-55, WinTR-20, HydroCAD, SMS/SRH2D, and other relevant software tools is essential.

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, reflecting the company's commitment to offering competitive compensation and benefits packages.
