About the Role

The Marketing Communications Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the marketing strategy of INTRUST Bank, a leading financial institution. Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, this individual will lead a team of marketing professionals in executing a comprehensive marketing plan that fosters strong brand presence and customer relationship growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Effectively manage a team of two marketing professionals, applying INTRUST's supervisor and manager expectations to foster a positive work culture, provide feedback, coaching, and development opportunities.
  • Content Strategy and Creation: Advance the content strategy to ensure sustainability and alignment with business and marketing objectives, guiding internal and external resources in the development of communications and creative assets.
  • Content Performance Monitoring: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities, monitoring content performance, and analyzing feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimize communications and content strategy for maximum impact.
  • Customer Communication Initiatives: Lead marketing efforts in customer communication initiatives, working collaboratively with subject matter experts and internal teams to deliver a seamless customer experience through effective communication strategies.
  • Brand Consistency: Cultivate and maintain brand consistency across all internal and external touchpoints, providing leadership on the team for adhering to brand identity, design, and voice guidelines.
  • Collaboration and Partnerships: Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal partners, marketing colleagues, and marketing vendor partners to anticipate needs, identify opportunities, and thoroughly understand communication objectives.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or Advertising, or the equivalent of a bachelor's degree in years of role-related experience. Minimum of seven years' experience in marketing communications required, with at least five years' experience supervising multiple employees.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Proven experience in development and execution of a content strategy, preferably in both B2C and B2B marketing, experience in managing others in a marketing function, strong aptitude for writing in multiple communications scenarios, and experience in creating content in multi-media forms.
  • Technology and Tools: Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Teams, project management software, and Adobe Creative Suite, with experience using a variety of tools for content creation from AI to videography a plus.
