Inventory Control Specialist

At Volt Workforce Solutions, we're seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain management team, you will be responsible for achieving operational efficiency and accuracy in inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:- Inventory Preparation: Organize products on shelves, manage overstock, and acquire UPCs to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Cycle Counts: Conduct cycle counts using RF scan guns and collaborate with Zero Pick personnel as needed to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Maintenance and Safety: Handle merchandise manually using equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts while maintaining a safe and clean work environment adhering to OSHA standards.
- Special Projects: Participate in special projects assigned by management to drive process improvements and efficiencies.
- Inventory Management Experience: Proven experience with inventory management (barcodes, UPCs, reports) and strong analytical skills to identify areas for improvement.
- Warehouse Equipment Familiarity: Familiarity with warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) and ability to operate safely.
- Microsoft Office Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) to effectively communicate and track inventory data.
- Troubleshooting and Attention to Detail: Strong troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail to ensure accurate inventory levels and resolve issues promptly.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift 51 lbs. and perform physical tasks as required, with valid driver's license and clean driving record.
The estimated salary range for this role is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, based on industry standards and location. As a Volt Workforce Solutions employee, you will be eligible for benefits including health, dental, vision, term life, short-term disability, AD&D, 401(k), sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law).
