Your Responsibilities:

Reporting to the National Director of Financial Aid, your primary role will involve assisting students with all facets of the Financial Aid process, ensuring that continuing students access the best funding options available and that all financial support is processed accurately and promptly.
Deliver exceptional customer service to students and both internal and external stakeholders.
Assess students' eligibility for Title IV funding, institutional loans, scholarships, and Federal Work Study programs.

Engage with each student to understand their unique circumstances and ensure that their financial aid is appropriate and well-organized.

Ensure all necessary documentation is complete and properly filed before submission for quality assurance.
Resolve financial aid discrepancies within five business days.
Respond to all student inquiries within 48 hours.
Support students throughout the financial aid process as needed.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure students receive comprehensive support beyond financial aid.
Assist students in understanding how leaves of absence and schedule changes may affect their financial aid.

Work closely with the Bursar's office and the National Director of Financial Aid regarding overdue accounts or students with incomplete aid applications to determine their eligibility to continue attending classes.

Meet weekly productivity targets.

Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience is preferred.
A minimum of three years of experience in financial aid or equivalent skills is required.
A professional demeanor with a strong customer service orientation.
A high level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and multitasking abilities in a dynamic environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint).
Proficiency in Spanish is preferred but not mandatory.
