Position Overview:
As an Accounts Payable Associate, your role will involve supporting the daily financial functions for the dealerships under Berglund Automotive.
Your main responsibilities will include reconciling purchase orders with vendor invoices and statements, maintaining precise records, and ensuring timely and compliant vendor payments.

Primary Duties:
- Reconcile purchase orders with vendor invoices and statements.
- Identify appropriate account and company allocations and code invoices accordingly.
- Input invoices into the accounting system.
- Prepare checks for payment processing.
- Conduct monthly reconciliation of payment runs.
- Prepare disbursement checks for necessary approvals.
- Address management inquiries as needed.
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure timely receipt of all required documents.
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field is advantageous.
- Prior experience in accounting or accounts payable is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficient computer skills, including accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
