We are seeking an experienced Infection Prevention Leader to join our team at Galileo Search, LLC. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of infection prevention strategies to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients, employees, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement infection prevention policies and procedures to meet Joint Commission standards and other regulatory requirements.
- Conduct surveillance and analysis of infection control data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the patient care team to ensure compliance with infection prevention principles across the hospital.
- Design and deliver education programs for staff on infection prevention best practices.
- Lead the Infection Prevention and Control Department to ensure effective implementation of infection prevention strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as nursing or public health.
- Active RN license in the state of practice.
- Certification in Infection Control (CIC) preferred.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in infection prevention in an acute care Joint Commission-accredited facility.
- Demonstrated clinical and leadership skills in working with hospital and medical staff.
- Working knowledge of epidemiology principles and computer proficiency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
