Job Summary

Penske is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Lebanon, TN. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of electrical products and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct visual inspections of cabling and electrical extension cords to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Inspect plugs and connectors to ensure they match and are in good working condition
  • Check for internal breaks or shortages in electrical components
  • Address any product issues with the supervisor and maintain documentation of quality inspection
  • Move product with the use of an electric pallet jack
  • Perform other projects and tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
  • 2 years of electrical experience preferred
  • 2 years of quality control experience in a warehouse environment required
  • 2 years of general office administration required
  • 1 year of customer service experience preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Proficiency in using a computer including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required
  • Ability to use hand tools, work independently, develop people skills, organizational skills, good written and oral communication skills required
Physical Requirements

The associate will be required to:

  • Read
  • Communicate verbally and/or in written form
  • Remember and analyze certain information
  • Remember and understand certain instructions or guidelines

The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25lbs/12kg.
