Job Summary

The Safety and Security Aide plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of members, staff, and visitors at the Community Behavioral Health Center. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm in emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform regular security checks of the buildings, including rounds, checking doors, bathrooms, and monitoring for potential risks.
  • Secure premises and personnel, both internal and external to the building.
  • Provide direct response to disruptions, outbursts, and any demonstrative behavior.
  • Monitor closed-circuit TV cameras and respond to alarms.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide first aid/CPR as needed.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and access to an operational and insured automobile.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and Safety Care certification within three months of hire.
