Are you a highly skilled Network Infrastructure Architect looking for a challenging opportunity? Age Solutions is seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Senior Network Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructure for our clients in the Department of Defense (DoD) environment.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of network design principles, network performance monitoring, and network virtualization technologies. You will work closely with our team to ensure the seamless integration of new technologies and the maintenance of existing network systems.

A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or an equivalent field, with a Master's degree preferred, is required for this position. Additionally, you must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in operating and designing network infrastructure, including 2+ years as a senior or lead engineer in software-defined networks.

Your exceptional mathematics and IT skills, strong analytical approach to problem-solving, and ability to write scripts and code for automating network threshold events will be essential assets in this position. You must also possess a nationally recognized certification for network administrators/engineers/architects, meet IAT Level III requirements, and maintain an active Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and architect routed and switched networks, incorporating current and emergent design principles and protocols.
  • Plan, design, and build software-defined networks, enhancing the flexibility and efficiency of network infrastructure.
  • Monitor network performance, manage resource utilization, and conduct trending and capacity planning.
  • Implement and manage network virtualization technologies to optimize network operations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or an equivalent field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a primary role operating, troubleshooting, and installing network routers and switches.
  • 5+ years of experience in a primary role designing and architecting routed and switched networks.
  • 2+ years as a senior or lead engineer in planning, designing, and building software-defined networks.
Estimated Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is $150,000 - $180,000 per year, based on industry standards and national averages.
