  • Prepare for and attend court hearings, mediations, and depositions
  • Communicate with opposing counsel, court personnel, and others in a professional and respectful manner

  • Existing knowledge or willingness to expand knowledge to handle wills, trusts, and estates a plus
Qualifications
  • Licensed to practice law in North Carolina
  • Graduated from an accredited law school
  • Experience with family law and an intent to remain in this area of practice
  • Comprehensive knowledge of NC Family Law (Chapter 50), the NC Rules of Civil Procedure, and the NC Rules of Evidence
  • Working knowledge of Local Rules for Family Court in Wake and Durham Counties a plus
