About the Role
We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Bon Secours Mercy Health. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
- Position patients on the MRI scanning cradle to obtain desired anatomic position
- Input patient information and select scan parameters for specific exams
- Perform quality assurance tests as specified by department protocol
- Participate in the education and instruction of students and the orientation of new staff
Requirements
- Certification and Registration with ARRT in Diagnostic Radiology with Advanced MRI Registry (MR)
- BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
- Associate's degree from an ARRT-accredited institute
- 1 year of experience in an MRI department in a hospital setting
