About the Role

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Bon Secours Mercy Health. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Position patients on the MRI scanning cradle to obtain desired anatomic position
  • Input patient information and select scan parameters for specific exams
  • Perform quality assurance tests as specified by department protocol
  • Participate in the education and instruction of students and the orientation of new staff

Requirements

  • Certification and Registration with ARRT in Diagnostic Radiology with Advanced MRI Registry (MR)
  • BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
  • Associate's degree from an ARRT-accredited institute
  • 1 year of experience in an MRI department in a hospital setting
