KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Engage with Server System Integrator clients, Cloud Service Providers, Data Center operators, Hyperscale businesses, and Home Appliance manufacturers to identify and address technical challenges related to server rack slides and rails, while aligning with their business objectives to propose tailored nVent solutions.
Develop comprehensive business and technical proposals in response to opportunities and requests for quotes related to Data Server Rails and Home Appliance Rails.
Provide exemplary sales leadership, support, and account management for key clients.
Foster collaborative relationships with global customer service, design engineering, quality assurance, and production teams to meet account management requirements.
Coordinate and enhance business development strategies and global account management by working closely with regional account managers and other business development team members.
Identify, map, and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including engineering teams, product managers, procurement professionals, and executive sponsors within client organizations.
Advocate for new product developments and pinpoint new opportunities for nVent by gathering customer feedback, monitoring competitors, and formulating strategic responses.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A bachelor's degree is advantageous, or relevant sales experience will be considered.
Ideally, candidates should possess over 10 years of experience in OEM or ODM sales and business development, particularly in technical product solutions within the data center sector.
Ability to work remotely and travel approximately 15% of the time nationally. While we welcome applications from various locations, our preferred regions are WA, CA, or TX.
Capability to engage in discussions regarding product design and enhancements both internally and externally.
Demonstrated success in building strong relationships with major enterprise clients, leading to significant project achievements and sales growth.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on cultivating and maintaining robust relationships with customers and partners.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools, preferably Salesforce.

COMPENSATION TRANSPARENCY:
nVent's compensation structure is based on the anticipated range of total target cash pay for this role, which includes base salary and potential sales incentives based on performance.
Compensation will be determined by various factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, education, and performance metrics.
