Role Summary
As an Anesthesia Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and maintaining anesthesia supplies and equipment, ensuring readiness for procedures.
- Assisting with the organization and replenishment of anesthesia drug trays and equipment.
- Supporting anesthesia providers during patient setup and room transitions.
- Ensuring the availability of safe and clean anesthesia equipment while maintaining a secure working environment.
- Responding to emergencies with appropriate knowledge of emergency supplies and basic life support techniques.
- Engaging in direct patient care activities, including the application of monitoring devices and positioning for anesthesia.
Qualifications
Experience:
- A minimum of one year in an operating room or critical care setting, or as a Patient Care Technician.
- Preferred experience as an Anesthesia Technician or Assistant.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
