Data Analysis and Simulation Co-op/Intern Opportunity
This job description outlines potential openings for the Data Analysis and Simulation Co-op/Intern program at American Honda Motor Co Inc. The program is designed to provide students with hands-on experience in data analysis and simulation, working on real-world projects that align with the company's current needs.
About the Role
As a Data Analysis and Simulation Co-op/Intern, you will be responsible for developing and implementing algorithms for data analysis, machine learning, and simulation. You will work closely with design, test, and new model groups to provide data-driven insights and predictive modeling. Additionally, you will conduct computational simulations to predict material and part behavior and performance, collect and analyze large datasets to identify trends and correlations, and summarize analysis results in report form and present findings to internal or external stakeholders.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in business coursework, a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA or higher, and be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program studying Computer Science, Materials Science Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. You will also need to have a valid U.S. driver's license and be able to secure your own transportation to and from work each day.
