Job Title: Software Engineer II

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer II to join our team at Mastercard. As a key member of our Platform team, you will play a crucial role in building revolutionary products that help businesses worldwide unlock the value of their data.

As a Software Engineer II, you will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to design, build, and test high-performance systems that meet the needs of our clients. You will be responsible for enhancing our suite of web applications, working on data-intensive features, and collaborating with Data Engineering, Product, and Front-End teams to deliver new features and improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enhance our web applications to bring data-driven decision-making to our clients.
  • Work on data-intensive features to ensure efficient data processing and retrieval.
  • Build features used by some of the world's largest organizations to make multi-million-dollar decisions.
  • Write clean, well-documented code that adheres to best practices and participates in code reviews.
  • Support platform operations by troubleshooting, debugging, and ensuring system stability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and improvements.
Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience in software development with exposure to both frontend and backend technologies.
  • Proficiency in advanced object-oriented programming and microservice development.
  • Understanding of one or more programming languages,.NET, Typescript, or React.
  • Understanding of databases and experience working with data models.
  • Full stack engineering experience in an Agile production environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
