We are seeking a highly qualified Academic Instructor to join our team at the University of Minnesota. As a Teaching Specialist, you will have the opportunity to teach undergraduate or graduate students in assigned courses, hold office hours to assist and advise students, and participate in relevant departmental meetings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies

Requirements
  • B.A. degree in Gender Studies or related field
  • At least one year of teaching experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
Preferred Qualifications
  • M.A. or Ph.D. in Gender Studies or related field
  • Three years of college-level teaching experience
  • Knowledge and/or training in the University of Minnesota teaching methodology
