Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in an ambulatory care setting. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with general mobility and transfers, utilizing patient care equipment and maintaining supplies, medications, and vaccines.
  • Perform various nursing functions, including administering medications, ensuring proper documentation, and managing Epic Inbasket messages.
  • Conduct phlebotomy, blood glucose, and POCT procedures, as well as manage Epic Inbasket messages.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care and support.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved School of Practical Nursing.
  • Current licensed practical nurse (LPN) licensure in the state of Ohio, including certification to pass medications.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare provider certification.
  • Minimum of one year of experience working as a LPN in an ambulatory setting.
  • Experience working with Epic electronic medical records system.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in obstetrics, pediatrics, and/or cardiology.
  • Network Access and/or Various Apps needed: Epic, Network Pyxis.
Work Environment/Physical Requirements

This role requires sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and walking intermittently during the day. The ability to lift pounds with assistance and push/pull up to 500 pounds with assistance is also required. Some exposure to communicable diseases or body fluids and chemicals and cleaning products is expected.
