Ambulatory LPN - Primary Care Float Position

Join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals at Nationwide Children's Hospital as an Ambulatory LPN - Primary Care Float Position. As a key member of our nursing team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical nursing care to patients under the direction of a RN Care Manager.
  • Implement nursing interventions according to established standards and demonstrate competence in specified nursing care.
  • Administer and document medications by all routes, utilizing the five rights and all other related safety recommendations.
  • Perform various IV therapy procedures, including verification of peripheral IV solution, examination of a peripheral infusion site, and discontinuation of a peripheral IV device.

Requirements:

  • Must be a graduate of an approved school of practical or vocational nursing.
  • Must be licensed as a Practical Nurse in the State of Ohio.
  • Must complete an Ohio Board of Nursing approved medication test, such as NAPNES or OAPNES.
