Assembly Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Specialist to join our team at Aerotek. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling various company systems, primarily for the E-commerce industry, including conveyor belts. Your duties will include inserting rods into hand presses, following written work instructions, completing required quality documents, labeling and placing stickers on conveyors, accurately posting transactions using shop floor data collection devices, interpreting basic drawings and instructions, utilizing hand and power tools to assemble products, and troubleshooting and resolving any issues.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble various company systems, including conveyor belts
- Insert rods into hand presses and follow written work instructions
- Complete required quality documents and label and place stickers on conveyors
- Accurately post transactions using shop floor data collection devices
- Interpret basic drawings and instructions and utilize hand and power tools to assemble products
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues

This is a fully on-site position in Port Clinton, Ohio. The work environment is clean and well-lit, and you will be regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. Occasionally, you may need to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. You must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
