Job Overview
BAE Systems USA is seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team. This position involves assembling electronic components, assemblies, subassemblies, and modules using samples, visual aids, prints, wiring lists, and diagrams. The ideal candidate will have experience in soldering and assembly, as well as the ability to read and interpret work instructions and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble electronic components, assemblies, subassemblies, and modules by working from samples, visual aids, prints, wiring lists, and diagrams.
  • Perform electronic and mechanical assembly operations such as wire termination, installation of wire harness, cable assemblies, high value torqueing, and extensive attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with team members and engineering team to produce quality products.
  • Assemble, disassemble, and modify various production subassemblies by following work plans.
  • Inspect results to ensure conformance to IPC-610 standards.

Requirements
  • Read and interpret work instructions and mechanical drawings.
  • Experience working with large complex builds.
  • Ability to become solder certified.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Salary Information
The salary for this position is estimated to be between $39,820 and $63,690 per year, based on market conditions and qualifications. Regular employees are also offered comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) savings plan, disability coverage, and life and accident insurance.
