The Opportunity

We're seeking a Senior Digital Merchandising Coordinator to support our online merchandising efforts and enhance the customer shopping experience on the American Girl website. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for managing product listings, optimizing product information, and collaborating with various departments to ensure a seamless and effective ecommerce presence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Launch new products to the ecommerce platform, ensuring all product data (descriptions, images, pricing, inventory, etc.) is accurate and optimized.
  • Regularly update and maintain product information to reflect current offerings and availability.
  • Support the execution of online merchandising strategies to showcase key products and promotions.
  • Assist in managing and updating site banners, landing pages, and other promotional content.
  • Collaborate with the customer service and IT teams to address and resolve product-related inquiries or issues.
  • Work with the web development team to implement site enhancements and troubleshoot any issues.
  • Create and maintain reports on merchandising activities and performance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in ecommerce merchandising, retail merchandising, or a related role.
  • Basic proficiency with ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • This role may require occasional weekend or evening work to align with promotional schedules and product launches.
