Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Cyber Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's security infrastructure to protect our networks, systems, applications, and data from cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, configure, manage, and maintain security controls used to protect our networks, systems, applications, and data.
  • Manage security testing performed by service providers while engaging internal staff to perform remediation activities.
  • Manage tools which identify network, system, and application vulnerabilities and collaborate with system owners on required remediation within defined SLAs.
  • Support security awareness training systems, campaigns, newsletters, and reporting.
  • Perform regular security risk and control assessments for reporting to key stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Complete daily administrative tasks, reports, metrics, tickets, & status reports for key stakeholders.
  • Support third party IT compliance assessments, audits and testing, to maintain security certifications such as PCI-DSS.
Requirements
  • BS degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering or related qualifications.
  • 7+ years of work experience in cyber security domains
  • Active certifications validating cyber security experience.
  • 3+ years of AWS Security experience.
  • Microsoft Office 365 Security & Compliance Tools
  • Proficiency in scripting and query languages such as Python, Splunk, RegEx, Power Shell, etc.
  • Deep knowledge on cybersecurity tactics, techniques, and procedures.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving and writing skills.
