Patient Care Associate

As a Patient Care Associate, you will work under the direction of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse to provide individualized care to patients. Your role will involve assisting with clinical procedures, performing non-clinical support tasks, and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve the highest level of patient wellness.
Responsibilities- Assist with patient care activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Perform designated clinical procedures, such as taking vital signs and administering medications
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient information and maintain accurate records
- High school diploma or equivalent required; enrolled in a board-certified nursing program preferred
- BLS certification required within one month of hire
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required by the role
- Preferred experience: EMT, Paramedic, or previous patient care experience
