Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership and Management: Lead and manage a team of field engineers and technicians, ensuring effective coverage and support for all regional offices.
  • Oversee Hiring, Training, and Performance Evaluations: Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement by developing and implementing best practices, standards, and procedures.
  • Technical Support and Maintenance: Ensure timely and efficient resolution of technical issues in regional offices, including hardware, software, network, and system problems.
  • Project Management: Plan and oversee technical projects, including office relocations, infrastructure upgrades, and new technology rollouts.
  • Budgeting and Resource Management: Develop and manage the department's budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost control.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Act as a liaison between regional offices and the central IT department, ensuring clear communication and coordination.
  • Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and advancements in field engineering, and identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and the implementation of new technologies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: In Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 7 years of experience in technical field engineering or a related discipline, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Skills: Proven experience in managing and developing teams, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management Certification: PMP or equivalent.
  • IT Certifications: CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, or equivalent.
  • Master's Degree: In a related field.
