KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure an efficient recruitment cycle that promotes a positive experience for candidates and internal clients.
  • Oversee full-cycle recruiting, which includes consultations with hiring teams, job promotion, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating the selection and offer process, and facilitating onboarding.
  • Collaborate with university leaders, hiring managers, and key stakeholders to develop a comprehensive understanding of talent requirements.
  • Design and implement targeted job promotion and sourcing strategies, utilizing available resources to attract top-tier talent.
  • Manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), which includes posting job openings, reviewing applications, closing postings, tracking candidates through the hiring process, and fulfilling other functional requirements.
  • Support the interview process as needed, including participating in or conducting interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection methods.
  • Assist in organizing and facilitating various HR and recruitment events, such as new employee orientation, career fairs, and recruitment training sessions.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local recruitment and employment laws, regulations, and university policies.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends in higher education to guide recruitment strategies and recommend external recruiting technologies or resources as necessary.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Work effectively as a team member, embracing and promoting Liberty University's mission.
QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS
Education and Experience

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of relevant experience in Human Resources or customer service.
  • Strong technical skills with platforms like LinkedIn or similar.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
  • Experience with Workday Recruiting.
  • SHRM Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential.
