Job Summary:

The Diesel Mechanic Technician will diagnose and repair complex issues with truck systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems. You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure that all repairs are completed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform advanced maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with truck systems
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure efficient and effective repairs
  • Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts
  • Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order
  • Keep abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company insurability standards
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Vocational technical school training or equivalent experience
  • Automotive experience
  • Medium and/or Heavy Duty truck experience
