Job Overview

We are seeking highly skilled Sign Language Interpreters to provide exceptional interpreting services for our clients.

About the Role

This position involves effectively interpreting between American Sign Language (ASL) and spoken English, ensuring seamless communication for our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Interpret between ASL and spoken English in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain compliance with national, state, or local licensure and certification requirements
  • Demonstrate full compliance with Sorenson standards, FCC regulations, and the RID Code of Professional Conduct
  • Achieve high levels of accuracy and efficiency in interpreting tasks
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong foundation in ASL and the ability to interpret complex conversations
  • An associate's or bachelor's degree (preferred but not required)
  • Interpreter certification and at least 3 years of experience working as an interpreter (preferred)
  • Excellent technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot basic issues
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Please note that we estimate the annual salary for this position to be around $40,000-$96,000, based on a minimum of 10 hours worked per month.
