Position Summary

As the Senior Chef Manager, you will oversee both front and back of house operations within our food service departments. Your role will involve ensuring a high-quality culinary program while managing financial reporting. Key responsibilities include menu creation, inventory management, purchasing, labor and food cost oversight, maintaining sanitation standards, and personnel management, which encompasses hiring, coaching, counseling, training, and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise operations in alignment with organizational policies and legal regulations.
  • Engage in employee meetings and training initiatives.
  • Implement safety, sanitation, and maintenance protocols.
  • Manage food costs while upholding quality standards.
  • Actively participate in team development and management.
  • Oversee purchasing and inventory management.
  • Complete additional duties and special projects as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of five years of progressive culinary management experience.
  • Self-motivated, innovative, and capable of multitasking.
  • Ability to maintain a positive demeanor under pressure and inspire the team.
  • Passion for excellence in culinary practices.
  • Knowledgeable in HACCP standards and proper food storage techniques.
  • Experience in purchasing, food storage, and sanitation.
  • Familiarity with P&L and financial reporting.
  • Understanding of budgeting, labor costs, and inventory control.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and training abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional business etiquette and client relationship management.
  • Physical capability to lift, bend, and carry up to 40 lbs.
  • Knowledge of safe and sanitary food handling practices.
  • Commitment to the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct.
  • ServSafe or Department of Health certification is a plus.
